Velvet Ice Cream, Utica, Ohio, introduced seven new flavors to its line, including one pint flavor. The premium line of flavors includes the 2016 Ohio State Fair flavor — Banana Cream Pie — as well as chocolate chip, Kentucky praline pecan, strawberry cheesecake, Campfire S’mores and salty caramel. A chocolate peanut butter flavor is available only in pints. The salted caramel flavor contains 200 calories, 10 grams of fat, 19 grams of sugar (14 are added) and 3 grams of protein per 2/3-cup serving. The ice cream retails for $6.49 per 1.75-quart container; pints retail for $2.99. Velvet Ice Cream is available in stores in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
