Los-Angeles-based Halo Top Creamery released a new seasonal flavor, Blueberry Crumble, available for a limited time, March through the end of May. The reduced-calorie, reduced-sugar ice cream features pieces of flaky pie crust and blueberry swirls.
A pint of this flavor contains 360 calories and 20 grams of protein. A ½-cup serving contains 90 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 7 grams of sugar, 5 grams of sugar alcohol and 5 grams of protein.
"Blueberry Crumble is a direct result of requests and suggestions we have received," said CEO Justin Woolverton in a press release.
This latest flavor joins the company’s other 24 dairy ice cream flavors, including pistachio, sea salt caramel, peanut butter cup, mint chip, birthday cake and lemon cake. The ice cream is available in stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99 to $4.99 per pint.
