Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, Waterloo, Wis., said it launched a consumer recipe contest. Through March 31, cheese-loving home cooks may submit their favorite original recipe featuring Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics fresh mozzarella or Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics mascarpone. Entrants will have a chance to win $1,000 (first place), $500 (second place) or a Crave Brothers cooler tote filled with a selection of Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics cheeses and a cutting board (third place).
Home cooks are invited to submit their original recipes in any of three categories, Crave Brothers said, including side dishes (including salads), entrées/main courses and desserts.
To qualify, each recipe entry must yield six to eight servings, must be typed rather than handwritten and must include a photograph of the completed dish, the company said. Recipes and photos will become the property of Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese and may be used in the company’s promotional programs at its discretion. Entries will be judged on innovation, creativity and flavor.
Home cooks may email their contest entries to Beth Crave at beth@cravecheese.com. Entries must be received by midnight, March 31, 2018, to qualify. Contest winners will be announced on May 18, 2018.

Crave Brothers fresh mozzarella lends itself to a variety of uses ranging from appetizers and side dishes to main courses, the company added.
