New dairy products: Greek Gods' new nonfat Greek yogurt with chia seeds
Chia seeds provide even more satiety and texture in the Greek yogurt
Getting on board with the more functional yogurt concept, The Greek Gods brand, Lake Success, N.Y., unveiled a nonfat Greek yogurt with chia seeds. The new yogurts are available in a 5.3-ounce single-serve cup, and come with chia seeds and vanilla yogurt or chia seeds with fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt.
It’s available in four flavors: vanilla, strawberry, peach and blackberry. The strawberry variety contains 140 calories, 17 grams of sugar and 12 grams of protein per 5.3-ounce serving.
The Greek yogurt is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $1.59.
