Chobani will expand its Idaho yogurt manufacturing plant
Chobani plans to purchase and convert three production lines for its popular Flip products.

Dairy processor Chobani LLC, Norwich, N.Y., announced today a $100 million expansion of its Greek yogurt manufacturing facility in Twin Falls, Idaho, and said it is "exploring plans" to expand its original plant in central New York state.
In a statement, Chobani said it is self-funding the Idaho expansion which will allow it to:
- Purchase and convert three production lines for Chobani Flip products— its fastest-growing yogurt platform
- Purchase a new production line and a new bulk production line for foodservice opportunities to drive further growth in schools, hotels, airlines and restaurants
- Purchase new equipment for new adjacent categories like Chobani Meze Dips and yogurt drinks (as reported earlier this month)
- Launch products to new international markets, including Mexico and Puerto Rico in Q2 2016.
Dairy Foods named Chobani the Processor of the Year in 2012.
Chobani commissioned the Twin Falls dairy processing plant in 2013.
