Minnetonka, Minn.-based Crystal Farms, a subsidiary of Michael Foods Inc., introduced a line last year called Gouda Lovers — natural, creamy Gouda cheese, available in shreds, blocks and slices. The company describes its Gouda as having a light, buttery flavor. A quarter-cup serving of the shredded contains 100 calories, 8 grams of fat and 7 grams of protein. The cheese is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.39 to $2.99.
