Horchatas from Elmhurst Naturals are made with water, low-fat milk, sugar, rice starch and flavorings. They are sold in 10-ounce aseptic bottles in three flavors: vanilla, cocoa and dulce de leche (caramel).

One bottle contains 140 to 150 calories (depending on the flavor), 30 grams of sugar and 4 grams of protein. The suggested retail price is $2 to $2.50.

The horchatas are available nationwide "at participating 7-11 retailers" and some other regional grocery chains. Elmhurst Naturals products are made by Steuben Consumer Products, Queens, N.Y.
