Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, Waterloo, Wis., introduced three new cheese products: Farmer’s rope mozzarella sticks in an 8-ounce package; a 1-pound part-skim mozzarella ball; and 12-ounce bags of fresh Cheddar cheese curds (with a mix of white and yellow curds).

The new cheeses answer the call for consumers’ demand more high-protein snacks, according to the company.

The mozzarella rope sticks retail for $4 to $4.50 per package, the mozzarella ball for $4.50 to $5, and the Cheddar curds for $3.50.

The products are available in select stores (like Whole Foods Markets, Woodmans Food Stores and Brennans) in mid- and southern Wisconsin.
