Edy's Ice Cream, a Nestlé brand, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., launched a Frozen Custard line, available at retailers nationally.
Frozen custard is known to be extra thick and creamy, and is popular in Midwest ice cream shops. But it’s been growing in popularity, according to the company. The new line is available in six classic flavors:
- Old Fashioned Vanilla
- Chocolate Malt
- Mint Cookies N' Cream
- Peanut Butter Pie
- Salted Caramel Pretzel
- Snickerdoodle
Packaging for the collection was developed in partnership with Sterling Brands. The frozen custard is sold in 32-ounce cartons at a suggested retail price of $4.99 to $5.49.
