Green Valley Organics LF cream cheeseSebastopol, Calif.-based Green Valley Organics, owned by Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery, expanded its line of lactose-free products with its new lactose-free cream cheese, made with real dairy.

Starting in November, the new cream cheese will be available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.49 per 8-ounce container at Whole Foods Markets, with a wider availability in other natural food stores in early 2015.

The cream cheese made with four ingredients: organic cream, sea salt, lactase enzyme and live, active cultures. Flourish, the company's proprietary blend of 10 different probiotics, provides the live and active cultures. The cream cheese is made with no additives and is free of milk powder, fillers and gum. It is also certified kosher and gluten-free.

It contains 90 calories, 9 grams of fat and 1 gram of protein per two tablespoon serving.
