The 200th Evergreen Packaging N-8 gable top packaging machine is being installed at Driftwood Dairy in El Monte, Calif.  This will be the third N-8 Driftwood purchased by the dairy to handle Eco-Pak production.

DSM and Taiyo Kagaku Co. Ltd (Taiyo) have entered into a licensing deal  which will transfer the entirety of the Teavigo brand EGCG business to Taiyo. Under terms of the deal, Taiyo will become the sole producer of Teavigo by the end of 2014. In other DSM news, the company was recognized for its key role in the field of carotenoid research; it will facilitate the International Carotenoid Society (ICS) conference in Lucerne, Switzerland, July 9 to 14, 2017. DSM’s principal scientist, Wolfgang Schalch, has also been honored by the ICS with the Presidential Award for “achievements in ocular carotenoids research and dedicated service to the carotenoids field.”

Innophos Holdings Inc., a producer of nutritional specialty ingredients, announced that its subsidiary, AMT Labs Inc., has signed an exclusive license agreement to manufacture, sell and market Smart Salt low sodium salt substitute products in the Americas.
