Wonka Ice Cream, owned by Nestlé Dreyer’s Ice Cream Co., Oakland, Calif., launched new Peel-a-Pops. The new dessert ice cream pops look and peel just like a banana, with a peel that can actually be eaten.
The pops are available in two flavors — vanilla banana and vanilla grape — and sold for a suggested retail price of $4.29 per 8-pop carton. Each pop contains 70 calories, 1.5 grams of fat and 12 grams of sugar. The ice cream treats are available nationwide at Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway and Kroger.
