Ibex drinkable yogurt, created by Skyland Foods, Washington, D.C., is now certified organic and available in two new flavors: coconut and raspberry. These join the other two flavors, ginger and banana.
The company also announced a new functional formula that is packed with probiotics and prebiotics. As part of the formula change the company has added an additional probiotic to enhance the benefits already common in yogurt, and it also includes 3 grams of natural prebiotic fiber, according to the company.
Ibex will still feature its signature black bottles and less sugar — each 8-ounce bottle has only 5 grams of added sugar, with a total of 17 grams. It also contains 130 calories, 3.5 grams of fat, 8 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber.
The drinkable yogurt has no GMOs or artificial sweeteners and is gluten-free, according to the company. The suggested retail price is $2.49 and it's available in several independent natural/specialty retailers in the Mid-Atlantic.
