The Dannon Co., White Plains, N.Y., announced today its introduction of Dannon Creamery, a brand of pudding- and cheesecake-inspired dairy desserts.
The five cheesecake-inspired offerings use traditional Greek yogurt that are topped with fruit sauces and the three dairy pudding desserts are made with Grade A milk. The dessert products are a completely new brand for the company (the first since its Oikos introduction) and not a line extension, according to the company.
The Creamery dessert will be available nationwide beginning in July. It’s sold in 5.3-ounce cups, (specially designed to feel like of a dessert bowl, according to the company) for a suggested retail price $1.69. The line offers eight dairy desserts, including three puddings: milk chocolate, dark chocolate and vanilla; and five cheesecake-inspired flavors: strawberry, blueberry, cherry, lemon and caramel.
