GF Piping Systems, Tustin, Calif., has expanded its Fuseal polypropylene corrosive waste piping system size range to include 1 1/2 inch to 18 inch for both pipe and fittings.
The piping system's chemical and physical properties allow it to handle corrosive waste streams in dairy, beverage and food processing where mixtures of acids, bases and solvents are drained.
Fuseal is said to be resistant to the corrosive action of alkalis, alcohols, acids, solvents and salt solutions. It will not rust, pit, scale, corrode or be affected by electrolysis, the company states. Fuseal has the capability of mating to stainless steel trench drains using various styles of fitting combinations to allow for a completely sealed system.
