Caputo Cheese, owned by Wiscon Corp., Melrose Park, Ill., launched new Caprese slices. The slices are a pre-cut thicker style at 1.4-ounces. The new product is available in a 1.31-pound (15 slices) vacuum package without water for a suggested retail price of $5.99. This product joins Caputo’s existing 1-ounce fresh mozzarella slices, as well as its line of other fresh mozzarella products ranging in size from pearl to log-sized.
