Brandon Partridge, founder and CEO of Skyland Foods, announced last Friday that the company's IBEX Drinkable Yogurt was honored as a finalist in the Best Functional Dairy Product category at this year’s Dairy Innovation Awards. The awards were presented last week at the Global Dairy Congress in Lucerne, Switzerland.
An expert panel of judges reviewed 140 entries in 15 categories from 23 countries.
“This is a tremendous honor for Skyland Foods to compete and be so highly recognized in a category whose entrants included multinational brands and national dairy cooperatives, including some of the largest food and beverage companies in the world,” Partridge said. “As we accelerate our go-to-market plan this summer, this achievement is another sign that the IBEX proposition of great taste with less sugar, functional health benefits, and portable, on-the-go nutrition is right on target with today’s consumer.”
The Best Functional Dairy Product category included 14 entries from nine countries on three continents. The only other U.S. brand to be designated a Finalist was Core Power, a product of Fair Oaks Farms and Coca-Cola’s Venturing and Emerging Brands Group.
