The new Fristam FSH High Shear Blender for emulsifications and particle size reduction applications is designed to achieve submicron droplet sizes. The FSH provides intense shearing for beverages, mayonnaise, salad dressing and other products with dispersed/emulsified oils. It operates at top speeds up to 55 m/s, shear rates in excess of 100,000 inverse seconds, and flow rates to 80 gallons per minute. It is CIP capable and features a front-loading seal for simple routine maintenance.
