Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Ramar Foods, producer of Magnolia ice cream products, Pittsburg, Calif., introduced a new green avocado flavor to its all-natural, tropical ice cream line. The avocado flavor joins the other exotic, tropical flavors like mango, coconut, lychee, Thai tea and purple yam.
The avocado ice cream, and other flavors, are available in a pint size for a suggested retail price of $3.99. The products are sold in mainstream retail stores.
Magnolia is a California made, all-natural, ice cream line which contains only California pasture raised dairy along with whole fruit purees, most of which are grown on small family farms in Southeast Asia.
The company also produces a classic ice cream line with similar tropical flavors, which is sold in ethnic grocery stores, primarily Asian markets. In addition to Magnolia ice cream, Ramar Foods also produces all-natural single-serve novelty milkbars including: Azuki red bean, purple yam and red bean and coconut flavors.
