Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed added the Cornerstone IP69k model checkweigher to its line, designed for harsh washdown environments. It has IP69krated electrical components and enclosures, including user interface, photoeyes and specially protected 24 VDC servo motors. It has improved bearing protection with a dual-lip seal construction,
and the pneumatics assemblies are placed in the control enclosure to benefit from its IP69k protection. To manage condensation, motors and enclosures are provided with industrial Goretex vents and the main enclosure includes a heater element with dual disconnects.
