GEA TDS offers an inline UHT process for milk production that allows separation, standardization and aseptic process treatment of the milk in just one step, eliminating the need for distinct separation, pre-heating steps and intermediate storage. The inline UHT process saves fixed and variable costs, especially regarding energy consumption. It requires fewer components, less water and less detergent but still produces an enhanced quality product. Inline UHT systems offer another cost-saving option: partial stream homogenization, enabling the product to be homogenized with 50% reduced effort and the ability to use a smaller-sized homogenizer.
