Developing a style of its own, Puerto Rico-based Orgánica Yogurt hand-packs its premium yogurt parfaits made with 100% natural fruit and no preservatives. The
highly perishable product is sold at coffee shops, bakeries and Starbucks across the island. When the company’s founder, Antonio Castro-Barreto, started making yogurt a few years ago at the age of 23, he produced 20 units per week. As he steadily continued to perfect his recipe, demand increased and it he began diversifying its flavors. Today, his company produces 100,000 yogurt units annually in 12 flavors, including coffee, chocolate, mango and passion fruit.
