Huberto’s Luxury Ice Cream

Huberto’s GP has
introduced five regular flavors to its line of “luxury” ice
cream — Double Chocolate, Fudge Chocolate, Hazelnut Praline,
Strawberry and Chocolate — as well as four sugar-free flavors —
Chocolate, Fudge, Strawberry and Vanilla. All varieties are packaged in
1-liter plastic tubs and priced at 21.99 rands (about U.S. $3.50).

Life line is promoted as a line of healthy and refreshing frozen desserts
with functional benefits. Sorbet varieties are Cranberry & Litchi,
Lemon, Peach Iced Tea and Strawberry Joghurt, plus Dialite English Toffee
and Dialite Vanilla varieties of frozen dessert. The cranberry and litchi
sorbet is made with real fruit juice and contains vitamin C, as does the
lemon variety, while the strawberry variety contains added vitamin B
complex and calcium. The peach sorbet contains Teavigo and is purported to
deliver the antioxidant properties of green tea. The Dialite varieties are
fat free. All varieties come in 1.5-liter plastic tubs (retail price not
available).
Gino GinelliIce Cream

Italian Style” is how Unilever’s South African affiliate is
promoting the three new varieties of Gino Ginelli Ice Cream. The Mint
Caramel offers chocolate chips in mint- and caramel-flavored ice cream.
Strawberry Cheesecake features cheesecake and strawberry-flavored ice
creams swirled together with white chocolate-covered shortcake bits.
Vanilla Dream is vanilla ice cream sprinkled with pieces of real vanilla
pods. Presented in 1.5-liter plastic tubs, each variety retails for 34.99
rands (about U.S. $5.60).
