SPX Flow Technologycompleted installation of Anhydro brand evaporation and drying equipment for Sooro Dairy in Brazil. The equipment will be used to process demineralized whey powder, whey protein concentrate (WPC) 35 and permeate.
Romer Labswon the Karl Ritter von Ghega Innovation Prize for its AgraStrip Allergen rapid allergen test. The award was presented at the Congress Casino Baden in Austria on Oct. 11. AgraStrip Allergen strip tests release 14 most important allergens in foods within a matter of minutes, allowing for efficient and cost-effective screening of products.

Ralph Rupertwas hired as manager of unit load technology, working with local, regional and national sales representatives to develop systems-based unit load designs that will reduce customers' overall packaging expenses and complement their sustainability initiatives. He will also work with Liberty Technologies' engineering group on the design of automated materials handling and packaging systems and lead Millwood's initiative to establish a certified unit load test lab at the corporate technology center to run tests under ASTM and ISTA guidelines.
