This level of certification represents the highest within the SQF program, designating a comprehensive mastery of safety and quality management systems development.

A program administered by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), Crystal City, Va., SQF is a designation known by retailers and foodservice providers around the world who require a rigorous, credible, food safety management system of their suppliers and manufacturers. SQF is the only certification recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) that offers special recognition for product quality, issuing certificates for primary production, food manufacturing, distribution and agent/broker management.
