The new HydroWhirl Poseidon (HWP) from Bete Fog Nozzle is a versatile clean-in-place rotating tank-washing nozzle that combines slow-moving rotation and high-impact spray pattern for more efficient cleaning. It is ideal for tanks up to 22 feet in diameter. The bearing-less design provides a slow, nearly constant rotation speed over the operating pressure range. The slow, nearly constant rotation speed of the HWP is said to result in more efficient cleaning and use of resources over static spray balls and other rotating spray ball designs through increased impact and longer spray dwell time on the target surface.
The HydroWhirl Poseidon is self-cleaning and media lubricated for trouble-free operation in even the most demanding hygienic applications. As a result of its self-cleaning, self-lubricating characteristics, the possibility of process contamination is eliminated. The PTFE material of construction with clip-on (316 SS retaining pin) or threaded connections is ideal for corrosive environments and harsh cleaning fluids. It is made from FDA-approved materials for use in Clean-In-Place (CIP) applications.
With 6 standard models, each with 8 or 9 different connection options, Bete can recommend a HydroWhirl Poseidon for a wide range of tank sizes to clean the toughest challenges found in a variety of applications.
