Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp., Latham, N.Y., introduces DHA Plus Yogurt Blends with Juice in two different flavors: mixed berry and tropical fruit. Each 6-ounce shelf-stable plastic bottle contains yogurt (heat-treated after culturing) blended with fruit purée and fruit juice (maximum 40% juice). This toddler beverage is enriched with all the vitamins and minerals that growing babies need, including calcium, vitamin D, B vitamins, iron and zinc. It is also enhanced with prebiotic fiber in the form of inulin and the omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
