Corn Products International, Westchester, Ill., has said the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has given initial approval of its $1.3 billion acquisition of National Starch, Bridgewater, N.J., with the deal expected to be finalized by early October.
Corn Products International, Westchester, Ill., has said the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has given initial approval of its $1.3 billion acquisition of National Starch, Bridgewater, N.J., with the deal expected to be finalized by early October. In June, Corn Products agreed to buy National Starch, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dutch specialty chemicals and coatings company Akzo Nobel.
