Multivac’s B610 is the company’s latest model of belted chamber packaging equipment machinery. The B610 is said to be the largest and highest-capacity belted chamber packaging machine available in North America. It will be exhibited at the 2010 Pack Expo in Chicago. Two 60-inch seal bars are positioned 33 inches apart. A lid height of 11 inches allows for packaging of many of the largest food products and quantities. The machine also offers a patented tilting lid to facilitate easier and more ergonomic cleaning and seal bar maintenance. Seal bar height adjustments are made easily and without tools through the IPC touch screen.

The B610 is engineered with innovative valves to increase performance, speed ventilation and reduce energy consumption. The B610 is built for interior/exterior washdown (IP65) and integrates seamlessly with downstream equipment such as shrink tunnels and drying tunnels.
