Lomont’s In-Mold Technology (IMT) process (patent pending) fuses the layered graphics and plastic together into one piece using injection molding.  The IMT manufacturing operation utilizes robotics and the advanced properties of plastic materials.  Exhaustive field testing in all conditions as well as internal QUV accelerated weathering and liquid penetrant inspection testing has proven that IMT signs can withstand even the harshest environments.

In addition to the superior durability the IMT process affords, Lomont manufactures metal detectable plastic signs and tags that molds metal compound directly into the plastic.  If a sign were to be fractured accidentally, any extraneous piece that might fall into the product stream would be detected and discarded.
