Mike Ganacoplos, president of the BluePrint Group, has announced Bernhard Barta as the new vice president for corporate accounts. In his new role, Barta will be responsible for further developing BluePrint Automation’s corporate accounts and introducing the group’s capabilities to potential customers in non-food industry segments.
“Bernhard is a highly capable individual with a proven track record in the packaging automation industry who will build on our reputation and further secure our leadership position,” Ganacoplos said.Barta began his career in the food processing equipment industry as the general manager of Franz Haas Machinery, and then went on to hold senior positions with AMF Bowling products and Backaldrin of America. A graduate of the University of Vienna with a degree in economics, Bernhard has been working in equipment and food-related industries for most of his career.
Noting BluePrint’s leadership role in the packaging automation industry over the last several years, Barta made clear his reasons for taking on his new responsibilities. “I am very excited to be joining BluePrint at a time of great opportunity and challenges in the packaging automation industry as it is faced with growing challenges to be ever more cost effective. Being part of the BluePrint team puts me in a position to make an impact in a number of different industry segments.”
