Dean Foods is consolidating its fluid milk operations in the New Orleans area. According to a local newspaper report, Dean will close the Barbe's Dairy facility in Westwego, and combine its business and brands with that of Brown's Dairy in New Orleans. Many of the 93 employees at Barbe's are expected to transfer to Browns.
