Our fully integrated Canton, NC paper mill minimizes production time and ensures product consistency.
Our Waynesville NC plant is home to the industry's most advanced extrusion coating process, up to nine different polymer layers in a single pass and three of the most advanced extrusion coating machines. Waynesville is also home to our research and development lab.
Our DairyPak Plants are the second-largest manufactures of finished gable top cartons. DairyPak has offset and flexographic printing from 4 ounce to 1 gallon cartons.

We offer the energy of a start up and the expertise of a leader. For many years, our facilities were part of Champion International Corporation's "Canton System". In May 1999, The Canton System's five DairyPak™ facilities, its pulp and paper mill and its extrusion plant became Blue Ridge Paper Products Inc. Since then we have expanded our capabilities and capacity by acquiring the Westvaco liquid packaging business in Richmond, VA and creating partnerships in Panama and Italy.Customer Centric

Our employee-owners live and work in the communities where our operations are located. Environmental protection is a priority for us all.
We are proud to operate one of the most efficient and environmentally friendly pulp mills in the world. Benefiting from a $400 million investment in new technology over the past decade, our kraft paper mill is now a model for discharge water quality. We have an ECF (elemental chlorine free) bleaching process. We have in place what the Environmental Protection Agency has identified as the most environmentally friendly technology for making white paper.
Our Products
Blue Ridge Paper Products is a leading producer of liquid packaging, envelope papers and extrusion coated bleached board for food service packaging. We also produce printing and writing papers, specialty uncoated paper and board.
