Northfield, Ill.Kraft Foods Inc. intends to sell its Invernizzi branded cheese business in Italy to Groupe Lactalis, a leading French producer of dairy products, subject to approval by the Italian competition authorities. The proposed sale includes the Invernizzi gorgonzola, crescenza and mozzarella businesses and a manufacturing facility in Caravaggio, Italy.
