A Silent Type Vortex Mixing (STVM) hosedown station has recently been introduced by Spirax Sarco Inc. Designed for both CIP and general housekeeping use, the STVM station provides instantaneous, temperature-controlled hot water by blending steam and cold water. Its advanced design improves both operator safety and performance reliability. The thermal element automatically shots off steam flow if the hot water temperature exceeds the temperature set point by 15 degrees. Smooth, quiet operation reduces operator stress and fatigue. Two models produce water to 150 or 185 degrees.
