A dozen executives from North America’s largest dairy companies will travel to Washington, D.C., on Dec. 4 to advocate directly with members of Congress and Trump administration officials for passage of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
The partnership will launch at a 5K celebration on Nov. 24.

Choose PA Dairy — a joint promotional campaign with a goal to increase consumer awareness about the year-round availability of local Pennsylvania milk and its health benefits — announced a new partnership with Girls on the Run (GOTR) across Pennsylvania to promote a healthy lifestyle that includes consuming real milk as part of a nutritious, balanced daily diet.
Lipari Foods, a producer of dairy products and other foods, said Tim Walls was named the company’s president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.
The expansion also marks the company’s first foray outside of the yogurt aisle.

Chobani, America's No. 1 Greek Yogurt Brand, announced its biggest expansion ever, with an entire platform of batch-made oat-based drinks and cultured oat blends, as well as dairy-based creamers.
The 2020 World Championship Cheese Contest is now accepting entries of cheese, butter, yogurt and dry dairy ingredients now through Jan. 31 at WorldChampionCheese.org.
On Nov. 12, Dean Foods Co. said it and substantially all of its subsidiaries initiated voluntary Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings in the Southern District of Texas. Dairy industry groups, including the Washington, D.C.-based International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), Rosemont, Ill., issued statements the same day in reaction to the news.
The company launched the volunteer program in 2017 to benefit the communities in which it operates, as well as its employees.
