Good Culture, an Irvine, Calif.-based cultured dairy products brand “on a mission to make clean, healing foods available to the masses with real organic and non-GMO ingredients,” said it is now a Certified B Corporation, joining the ranks of merely 2,500 companies across 50 countries.
The alliance is a partnership between the Center for Dairy Research and the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association.

The Dairy Business Innovation Alliance (DBIA), a partnership between the Center for Dairy Research (CDR) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Madison, Wis.-based Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA), announced the 13 companies and cooperatives that, via a competitive review process, were selected to receive grants totaling $230,000.
The cooperative launches program to help community food banks secure much-needed refrigeration and keep them stocked with milk.

When the pandemic hit back in March, many consumers started loading up their pantries. That practice has benefitted a number of retail food and nonfood segments.
The cooperative is partnering with American Farmland Trust and Eva Longoria.
