Lioni Latticini Inc., Union, N.J., introduced Fior Di Latte, a fresh mozzarella designed for pizza. The all-natural mozzarella is the original "filatura" (stretching) cheese and is made from 100% Jersey cow's milk from local farms.
Cedar Crest Ice Cream, Cedarburg, Wis., said it introduced a line of churned ice cream. The 48-ounce containers recently hit store freezers with flavors that include Caramel Swirl, Strawberry, Mint ‘N Fudge and Vanilla.
The lactose-free milk has 50% more protein and 50% less sugar than regular milk.

Organic Valley, La Farge, Wis., introduced Ultra, the first organic ultrafiltered milk available nationally. According to the cooperative, the milk has 50% more protein and 50% less sugar than regular milk.
Fairfield, N.J.-based Schuman Cheese said its Bella Rosa cheese line, an entertaining-friendly line offered previously in limited distribution, will now be available on a national scale.
