Saputo Inc. grew profits by 8.4% last year even though lower U.S. cheese prices and a stronger Canadian dollar contributed to a decline in revenues, the company said recently.

In an effort to improve the competitive position of the state's dairy farmers, Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Dennis Wolff will form a statewide Dairy Task Force to review and strengthen Pennsylvania's dairy industry.
