Good Humor announced a commitment to help ice cream mobile vendors sustain their businesses with the launch of its Neighborhood Joy Grant Program.

Following a successful checkoff pilot, Dairy Management Inc. (DMI) reports that the results of the checkoff checkoff-initiated smoothie program pilot showed increased consumption of milk and yogurt. As a result, the program will be offered in more schools this fall, the Rosemont, Il.-based company says.

The company will be implementing new automation and efficiency plans to ensure the brand is equipped for future demand.

Wells Enterprises expects the project, with the necessary approvals and in collaboration with local and state officials, to be operational by late 2025. 

The project will preserve and renovate the historic Yellow Barn and construct a new building next door with two anchor tenants: the Hardwick-based nonprofit Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) and Greensboro cheesemaker, the Cellars at Jasper Hill.
