Two Good, a yogurt brand of White Plains, N.Y.- and Broomfield, Colo.-based Danone North America, said it teamed up with James Beard Award-winning Chef Marcus Samuelsson and Full Harvest this Earth Week to kick off a movement that highlights the critical role that food waste plays in our collective relationship with the climate and our stewardship of the planet.
The cooperative’s scholarship committee identified 44 students, who will receive a total of $63,000.

An old adage says: "If you want something done right, do it yourself." This saying perfectly encapsulates the operations of Rutter's Dairy, which produces fluid milk along with some juice and tea products at its York, Pa.-based plant.
It is the first dairy facility in the United States to earn certification under the standard.

Yoplait, a yogurt brand of Minneapolis-based General Mills, said it donated a new $75,000, 53-foot refrigerated trailer truck to help address the insufficient refrigeration infrastructure at Feeding America’s Cadillac, Mich., branch.
York, Pa., can trace its beginnings back to 1741, when settlers from the Philadelphia region founded the city. And Rutter's Dairy, which is based in this area, has an origin story that goes back almost as far.
