Ready to share your knowledge with others in the industry?
All 2025 Membrane Technology Forum sessions will prominently feature membrane technology as a catalyst for innovation in dairy and non-dairy product development and ingredient processing, as well as improved management of resources, like water.
Product areas discussed at the Membrane Technology Forum include, but are not limited to processing:
- Dairy products like milk, cheese, and yogurt
- Non-dairy beverages like juices, beer, wine, and alcohol alternatives
- Dairy and non-dairy ingredients through fractionation, separation, and/or concentration
The event will feature concurrent Technical Breakout Sessions highlighting use of membrane technology for:
- Dairy—innovations and research findings, including for processing finished dairy-based foods and beverages, and dairy ingredients
- Non-dairy food and beverage innovations and research, including for processing finished non-dairy products and ingredients
- New or updated membrane element cleaning and sanitation strategies
- Water treatment strategies for food and beverage processing, including treatment of source water before processing and wastewater treatment after processing
Keynote and General Session presentation time slots are 60 minutes. All Keynote and General Session abstracts from suppliers should also include a speaker from a customer company, such as a food or beverage processor, or a processor of ingredients for use in food and beverage applications, to provide both the supplier and end-user perspective.

- The State of Membrane Technology—the latest advancements, opportunities, and challenges in membrane technology today
- Innovating Through Membrane Technology—advancing innovation in the food and beverage industry through membrane technology, including success stories for commercialized dairy and non-dairy products and ingredients
- The Future of Membrane Technology—emerging applications, innovations, and opportunities
The event will feature concurrent technical breakout tracks for:
Technical Breakout Session presentation time slots are 30 minutes.
- Dairy

- Cleaning/Sanitation
- Water Treatment
Information for Speakers
- Abstracts should be a maximum of 200 words.
- If abstract is chosen for presentation, speaker confirmed with presentation is expected to present at the 2025 Membrane Technology Forum. Substitutions are not guaranteed a speaking role at the event.
- Speakers are required to submit presentations for distribution to all registered attendees.
- Presentations should reflect the highest professional standard. The use of trade names and company advertising is greatly discouraged.
- All presentations must be non-promotional and free from commercial solicitation.
Important Deadlines
- Submission of abstracts: January 31, 2025
- Notification of acceptance: February 28, 2025
- Submission of completed presentation: May 16, 2025
