Dairy processors will get a first-hand look at the new ingredients and flavors for dairy foods at the IFT 12 Annual Meeting + Food Expo running June 25 to 28 in Las Vegas. Billed as the largest annual food science forum and exposition in the world, it offers attendees and exhibitors the chance to discover the latest consumer trends, learn about cutting-edge food science developments and applications, and experience new products and technologies.
The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) and the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) today announced that they have signed an agreement to co-locate Process Expo and the International Dairy Show in Chicago, beginning in 2013. The two shows will take place November 3-6, 2013, bringing together over 800 exhibitors and 15,000 industry professionals in the North and South Halls of McCormick Place. Attendees will have unlimited access to both show floors and educational programs.
Anuga FoodTec 2012, which concluded last week in Cologne (Koeln), Germany, posted its best event result to date. Anuga FoodTec’s visitor numbers grew by around 25%, totaling more than 42,000 trade visitors from 131 countries.
The International Cheese Technology Exposition has outgrown its previous venues. So it moves to Milwaukee in April. It will be the ICTE’s largest event ever.

The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association and the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research, both headquartered in Madison, Wis., are hosting the cheese industry’s most exclusive show — the International Cheese Technology Exposition (ICTE), April 10-12 at the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
Exclusively for thought-leaders in food and beverage processing facility management, Food Plant of the Future webinars are presented by Hixson, a leading design and engineering firm of food processing facilities in North America.

This year, dairy processors showed off their wares among the Slim Jims, Monster energy drinks and prepared sandwiches at the 2011 NACS, staged by the Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing, Alexandria, Va., Oct. 1-4 in Chicago.
