Rumiano Cheese hosts ribbon-cutting ceremony for new processing and packaging facility

The 46,766-square-foot plant will increase efficiency and capacity by 50%.

On Aug. 6, Rumiano Cheese Co. hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new processing and packaging plant in Willows, Calif. Rumiano Cheese said the 46,766-square-foot plant will allow the company to double its current packaging volume by the end of 2025 and increase its processing and distribution capacity. It also will enable the company to introduce new product lines and retail capabilities, retain all 150 current employees and hire additional employees .

Guests at the ribbon-cutting ceremony included local dignitaries, community businesses, dairy farm partners, Rumiano executives and third- and fourth-generation co-owners of Rumiano Cheese Co., the company said.
