Belle Chevre to launch Pumpkin Spice cream cheese

Belle Chevre, Elkmont, Alaska, will be adding Pumpkin Spice to its sweet lineup of chevre cream cheeses. The seasonal flavor will be available from Sept. 1, 2019, to Dec. 31, 2019, the company said.

The cream cheese flavor is handcrafted with all-natural pumpkin purée and pumpkin spices. The offering blends the tang of its cream cheese with the rich taste of pumpkin and the aromatic characteristics of spices, making it the perfect seasonal option in the dairy case, Belle Chevre said.

“It’s that time of year when change is in the air and consumers are looking for something new to spice up their food choices,” said Tasia Malakasis, CEO, Belle Chevre. "Pumpkin Spice has become so associated with the fall and combines so well with dairy products, it was only natural for us to create our own adaptation.”

Belle Chevre’s Pumpkin Spice cream cheese is the fifth in the brand’s range of mostly sweet-flavored cream cheeses, including Cinnamon, Coffee, Fig, Honey and Original. According to the company, this line of healthier cream cheeses has more protein, less fat and more calcium than regular cream cheese and is also easier to digest.
