Prairie Farms Dairy Inc., Edwardsville, Ill., expanded its product lineup to include an 8-ounce package of its original cream cheese. Made with five simple ingredients, including real milk and cream, the cream cheese contains no preservatives or artificial growth hormones. It’s also the only cream cheese champion available on store shelves: The cream cheese formulation nabbed first-place wins at the 2017 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest and the 2018 World Championship Cheese Contest, the company noted. It’s distributed to retailers in a shelf-ready case that includes three sleeves holding 12 packages each. The product can be found throughout the Prairie Farms distribution area and has a suggested retail price of $1.99.
