New dairy products: Sir Bananas low-fat banana-flavored milk

Sir Bananas, a brand of WhiteWave Foods, Broomfield, Colo., is a low-fat banana-flavored milk banana and chocolate banana flavors.

The flavored milk is made with low-fat milk and banana puree. A cup of the banana flavor contains 150 calories, 2 grams of fat, 23 grams of sugar and 7 grams of protein.

It’s sold in half gallons for a suggested retail price of $3.49. It’s available in regional locations and will be available nationally in early 2017.
