Tillamook introduces Tillamookie ice cream cookie sandwiches

 Tillamook County Creamery, Tillamook, Ore., launched ice cream cookie sandwiches called Tillamookies. The frozen dessert comes in four flavor combinations — strawberry, chocolate hazelnut, mint chocolate chip and vanilla bean. Each ice cream sandwich features Tillamook ice cream or Italian-style gelato between two waffle cone cookies. It can be found in frozen novelty cases of major retailers across the West with a suggested retail price of $4.99 per 4-pack of 3.5-ounce sandwiches.
