Egan Food Technologies creates an ultra-sanitary, tool-less W.O.W. Conveyor

Egan Food Technologies, in partnership with sister company Walker Custom Sheet Metal have created an ultra-sanitary, tool-less W.O.W. (Walker Original Washdown) Conveyor, which has been designed to help food manufacturers meet the strict sanitation requirements of the FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act. The pulleys, motors, drives, chutes and belts are said to be easily removable, so that anyone working on a line can fully disassemble it. The fully-customizable conveyor has no bacteria-harboring niches, a feature that makes it ideal for food manufacturers looking to comply with FSMA.
