The California Milk Processor Board (CMPB) funded the study and issued a press release last month warning that consumers may be putting themselves, not to mention the industry, at risk by eliminating dairy from their diets. In a study of 3,000 people nationwide, 62% of respondents said they “self-diagnosed” the condition, CMPB said.
